many entertainment options out there I know it is difficult to make a decision
on which one will be the best fit for YOUR Wedding. Do you even hire a DJ,
or do you hire a band or other entertainment option? A recent survey
conducted by Modern Bride Magazine revealed that only 5% of the average wedding
budget is spent on entertainment and yet when people who attended weddings were
asked what was remembered most, almost 40% said entertainment. Another
survey states that close to 80% of people that attend weddings would prefer a
Disc Jockey to a band. The reasons were for the most part because bands
have very limited play-lists and have limited flexibility in the ability to
perform from a variety of genres.
When planning a wedding, or any event, one of the most important elements is the

Steps to The Perfect Wedding
With state-of-the-art sound equipment and dazzling lighting effects, a
professional DJ can truly be the life of the party. The Disc Jockey can not only
provide the entertainment but can also make sure your event goes off without a Hitch assuring your event will be remembered for years to come.
And how is this accomplished? My experience and our Planning!
We will work together to plan the day you have always dreamed of.
Whether formal or informal, indoors or outdoors, by land or by sea, we will plan
every detail of your wedding from introductions and music play-lists to
announcements and activities. Each wedding is a unique event and we will
work together to assure that there will be no "surprises" the day of your
wedding.
The planning process is typically broken into several steps outlined below. Again, each wedding is a
unique event, so in some cases we may take different approaches, but these are
the most common steps in the planning process:
Initial Consultation: This is where we
first meet to discuss the services that I offer and your perfect Wedding vision.
I'll answer all your questions and ask you to describe your perfect wedding
vision and we will share ideas on how we can achieve that vision. We will
then sign the initial contract (if not done so already) and begin to review the
on-line planning forms.
An initial consultation can certainly be used to help you make your decision
on whether to use my services or not. No strings attached! I will
meet with you with no obligation or pressure to book with me.
Planning: On-line wedding planning forms are
available as part of all wedding packages. We will review the forms and I
will be available to answer any questions about your formalities, activities,
announcements and music choices along the way. Feel free to use my twelve
years of experience to construct your perfect day!
Music Research: Lets not forget we need to
make sure I have all your favorite music on hand! Music selections will be part of the planning
process. I will be sure to have located any requests that you have
specified on the planning form and will keep in touch with you regarding
any problems that I may run into. In rare cases we may ask you for a copy
if we are unable to obtain a selection.
Final Review: Approximately
1 week before your wedding we will meet (or discuss over the phone) to go over the
final details of your wedding.
This is the point where we will review the on-line planning forms and we can make final
decisions on the contents of the various activities, announcement and music
request forms. Any
final questions that you may have can be answered at this point.
Set-Up/Breakdown: I typically arrive 1-2
hours prior to your wedding to make sure the setup phase goes smoothly and is
not rushed. I take a maximum of an hour to break-down.
Performance: Let's not
forget the main reason we are here. I'm here to perform for your perfect
event and make all this planning pay off!
